Company Directors
Founded by a collective of theatre professionals from the North West. Honeycomb Theatre is dedicated to the development of new writing, creating affordable theatre performances, and delivering opportunities for writers, actors and directors.

Liam
Fox
Liam Fox is a British actor best known for his long-running role as Dan Spencer in ITV’s Emmerdale, which he played for over a decade. His extensive television work also includes roles in Cold Feet, Dinnerladies and many other popular UK dramas and comedies. On stage, he recently appeared as Grandpa Potts in the UK national tour of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang for Crossroads Live, praised for his warmth, humour and emotional depth. A graduate of the University of Salford, Liam also works as a writer, producer and live performer, developing original theatre and television projects and performing cabaret and events that blend storytelling with classic songs from the Rat Pack era through to 70s, 80s and 90s favourites, while remaining proudly rooted in the North West.

Yvonne Pinnington
Yvonne majored in Drama and Writing as part of the Creative Arts Degree at Crewe and Alsager. She has worked primarily in theatre ever since, including with English Touring Theatre, Ziggy Productions, M6 Theatre and Arlecchino Theatre. She has toured with Function Factory Theatre and SYP Theatre (including playing Lady Macbeth across the country).
Also a playwright, Yvonne has written several new plays, including “Cold Light Singing – The Pendle Witches Story” which debuted at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and toured for 5 consecutive years
She is also a qualified adult education teacher and has facilitated drama and playwriting workshops all over the North West of England, both for adults and young people.

Russell Tennant
Russell is a director / producer and experienced workshop leader who is passionate about developing new writing for the stage.
He has directed touring shows for Function Factory Theatre and shows for Write Now, 24:7 and Edinburgh and Brighton Fringe festivals. He has worked for The Octagon Theatre, Bolton, English Touring Theatre and Oldham Theatre Workshop.
He has also directed several site specific pieces including Street Quest, a live action adventure game featured in the North West’s Cultural Programme for London 2012.

Anthony Proctor
Anthony Proctor is an established theatre professional based in Liverpool. Anthony is active in theatre production, arts programming and community performance. Roles include positions at the Liverpool Empire, Unity Theatre, St Helens Theatre Royal and, most recently, as Theatre Manager of the historic Epstein Theatre. He is known locally as a performer, educator, mentor and producer, with experience in delivering many festivals and productions including Farmaggedon, Liverpool Pride, and the Liverpool Theatre Festival.
Anthony is delighted to be part of the team at Honeycomb Theatre, and can’t wait to support this new wave of Northern writers, directors and actors, making exciting and entertaining new work in Salford and beyond.
